Tooth Fairy Box

Hi Everyone!

I've been working on a mail box for my nephew. He lost his first tooth a few weeks ago and the tooth fairy had a hard time finding his tooth under his pillow. So I made this for him today. I used the cuttlebug to emboss the green paper then taped it on and used a cute ribbon I had on hand to outline it a bit and drew the tooth for the flag and it reads "tooth exchange" so he can lift the flag when he has a tooth in there for the tooth fairy. I drew the larger tooth and cut it out as well and drew a smiley face on it. I used Karen Foster stickers to spell out his name. I used Alphalicious cricut cart to spell out the "tooth fairy express" and cut at 1/2 inch on short stack shadow. I think it turned out pretty good.

Card Box

Hi Everyone! I have been trying to make a card box I saw on Capida Designs Blog. (capidiadesigns.blogspot.com) If you have not checked out her blog you should she has some great stuff. Well, being a lefty it took me a while to get this down! I used Cricut Walk in my garden daisy and cut it 3 inches for the design on the outside of the box to match the ribbon I had on hand. I think it turned out cute for my first try! This will probably hold about 8 cards and envelopes this is a great gift idea for girlfriends and moms.

Etching on Glass

Hi everyone, to answer the question about if I used transfer tape on my glass; I used the cricut vinyl when I made the stencil for the etching; it will stick real well to the glass so no need for using transfer tape. I just placed the stencil where I wanted it then applied the etching cream. This was my first time and I found this vinyl to be very sticky.
Hope everyone is having a great week!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to everyone. This year's resolution is to shoot for good health and happiness. And if along the way I shed a few pounds that's just fine too!

I've been cleaning my craft room so pics will come soon. I got a cool new chair for my room for Christmas this year from my hubby so can't wait to get it in here. So the creative mind can start creating! I got the Cuttle bug for Christmas so I'm excited about getting it out and experimenting. So I'll be whipping out some cards soon and will post. I did some glass etching this year for Christmas for some gifts. I love my cricut expression it's the best tool ever! I used it to cut out the stencil on vinyl and then used the armour etching cream to make the image on the glass. I think they turned out good for my first time. I put potpourri in the bottom and added a votive candle; then tied bows around the jars for a finishing touch.
